Tavistock provided overall Project Management including deal structure and negotiations, due diligence, coordination of completion of the Asset Purchase Agreement and related documents, and acting as point person for the closing. LumaStream, located in Saint Petersburg, FL, is one of the fastest growing solid state lighting solution providers in the United States. LumaStream Canada (formerly Power Vector), located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, has developed unique intellectual property assets for driving and dimming high brightness LEDs for interior and exterior illumination applications. Their products typically feature a ‘3-in-1’ approach that combines power, a dimming interface, and LED current drivers into one cohesive system for low voltage DC power distribution. Assisting NTT evaluate a U.S. entry strategy for a comprehensive software product line. Assisting several European-based Information Technology companies with market entry plans, including conducting market research, business intelligence, in-depth market and product assessment, development and assessment of entry strategies, and strategy implementation.Assisting two leading European companies establish a holding company and joint venture with a U.S. company, and performing the Managing Member function for the LLC. A full-time, three month assignment assisting Inovant (VISA's service organization) plan its e-business infrastructure. Assisting
a Japanese software services company in the acquisition of a U.S. competitor. Helping portfolio companies of Apax Partners, Inc. (a $25 Billion U.S. and European private equity fund) position, package, market and sell their software in the financial services markets, and assisting Apax to find and evaluate investment opportunities. Developing business and funding strategy and implementation for software companies focusing on the financial services industry, and planning and implementing strategic alliances and partnerships for them. Performing a process evaluation for VISA’s Strategic Investment Fund. Evaluating entry into the private equity market for a leading European financial institution. Serving as an Expert witness and performing consulting services for the law firm of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliff LLP concerning the evaluation of the performance of a CEO in a major financial institution (a three month assignment). Facilitating a strategy offsite session for partners in the Corporate Group of the law firm of Morrison & Foerster LLP. Assisting Andersen & Company LLC, a boutique New York investment banking partnership, in a debt-for-equity swap program. Serving on the Advisory Board of some of our client companies. Providing part-time CFO services for a new Venture Capital firm. |
